Other low cost options only 5 minutes from the festival are Umeå Vandrarhem and Norrland YMCA Hostel (Swedish only website), and there are many other quality hotells in the center of town just minutes away from the festival.

Umeå Folkets hus is situated at "Vasaplan", the downtown hub for city buses. The regional bus station and train station are only about 5 minutes away by foot. Umeå airport is 10-20 minutes away by airport bus or taxi.
