With her expressive singing style and a voice that is both powerful and clear, Ulrika Bodén is considered one of the leading folk singers in Sweden. Her acclaimed album,Te berga blå, is a loving tribute to songs and sheep/cattle calls of traditional shepherds, beautifully accompanied by the trio Ahlberg, Ek & Roswall, who also appear on the album.
Ahlberg, Ek & Roswall's dazzling interplay and imaginative arrangements have established the group as one of the most exciting acts on the Swedish folk music scene. Their music has influences from both pop and baroque, a great tonal breadth and a completely irresistible rhythm. The trio was named Group of the Year at the Folk and World Music Gala in 2016 and has previously released four albums of their own, the latest of which is Till dans.
