This year’s folk class from Birka Folkhögskola consists of a joyful mix of folk musicians from all around Sweden. With the Jämtland tradition close to our hearts as well as a varied mix of Nordic folk music we offer both old trad favourites and nice groovy arrangements!
With fiddles, guitars, clarinet, viola and bass we create an energetic party band who, in autumn 2023, won the Student Spelmanslag World Championship in Norrköping. In the mood for danceable groove and an effervescent joy of playing? Come and see Birka Folk!
