Workshop: Melody playing at a slow tempo
This is the workshop for those of you who are not used to playing by ear, and who want to learn more songs. We learn some common well-known melodies and songs from Västerbotten. Learning takes place at a very slow pace. You need to have basic proficiency on your instrument. All instruments are welcome!
The workshop is held by Janna-Li Janke. Janna-Li, who grew up in Västerbotten's folk music circles and played the violin in the municipal music school when she was little. She sings and plays several other instruments, and is mostly a self-taught musician. She has taught violin, composition and ensemble playing in public education for many years.
